Driving through the pueblo at dusk, I was struck by the sunlight on the church and the unexpected, beautiful architecture. The sunlight literally glowed off the front of the church, illuminating the dusty landscape. As soon as I got home, I began work on a series of surreal artwork focused on the historical church.
